About Me

My passion is making images that are thoughtfully crafted and that evoke a feeling in the viewer—wonder, joy or melancholy.

I believe that even an inanimate subject like a building has a personality and story, so I strive to tell the subject's story through my images.

After spending 20 years in corporate America in the technology and business fields, I thoroughly enjoy being a freelance commercial, architectural, and fine art photographer.

My work has won several awards in juried competitions at the regional, national, and international levels. I combine my skills and vision for making compelling images with my business knowledge to fulfill my client's needs.

I care about nature and the environment deeply. I volunteer my time and talent to several nature and land conservation organizations, including the Sudbury Valley Trustees, Appalachian Mountain Club, and the EcoLogic Development Fund.

The interview with the Boston Globe will hopefully tell you a little more about me and my photography. The transcript of the interview is also available here.

And here's a link to a promotional video showing some of my architectural photography work.
